Disability Equality Specialist Support Agency will deliver the training.
The session will examine issues on the way disabled people are treated in everyday life, challenge myths and misconceptions, and look at the Medical Model of Social Models of Disability. It will also look at how staff and volunteers interact with people of different abilities.
A Social policy workshop takes place from 10am – 4pm in 4 Drumfinn Park on the 6th November.
Brian Harvey, Social Researcher will deliver the training.
