Voluntary Groups on the 8th October between 6.30pm – 9.30pm in 4 Drumfinn
Park.
A full day session takes place on the 10th
October between 10am – 4pm in 4 Drumfinn Park.

Programme for Lone Mothers

Shaping YOUR
Future is a FETAC Level 4
Career Planning programme. The programme focuses on encouraging and supporting
lone mothers to:
- build
self-confidence and self-esteem
- strengthen
their personal and life skills base
- explore
education, training and work options
- access relevant
information and supports
- draw up a
‘Job-seeking Toolkit’
- plan their
educational, training or job-seeking ‘next steps’
- expand their
horizons and networking skills
- benefit
from one-to-one career guidance and mentoring
Time: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
mornings from 10 am to 1pm.
Dates: 16 sessions, from Monday 24th
September until Monday 5th November NB No sessions during
mid-term break 29th, 30th and 31st Oct.
Venue: OPEN Training Centre, 7 Red Cow Lane,
Smithfield, Dublin 7 (access by Luas Red Line; Bus routes: 83, 4/4a, 37, 39,
140 and 25)

Supports:
The programme is FREE.
Lone mothers can receive a contribution of €11.50 per session towards childcare
costs for pre-school children, and can also be reimbursed for public transport.
